Tree Removal or Tree maintenance

When you have a tree on your property, it's important to know when it might need to be removed or if it can be saved through proper care. Trees can become a risk to people, structures, or other plants if they're unhealthy, damaged, or poorly positioned. Factors like disease, pest infestation, or extensive storm damage can weaken a tree, making it unsafe. Additionally, if the tree's roots are causing damage to foundations, walkways, or other structures, it might be necessary to consider removal.

On the other hand, not all trees that show signs of distress need to be removed. Many can be salvaged with the right maintenance and pruning techniques. Proper pruning can help a tree grow stronger, recover from damage, or even prevent potential issues. For instance, removing dead or dying branches can reduce the chance of disease spreading. Correctly pruning young trees can also shape their growth, leading to a healthier and more resilient tree in the future. If you're unsure about your tree's condition or need, it's best to consult with a certified arborist, like us, to get a professional assessment. We can guide you on the best action to take, ensuring both the safety of your surroundings and the health of your trees.

If you have tree on your property that is causing you concern, please give us a call. We can visit your property and give you a no obligation assessment of your tree and property which can help you make the best decision for your situation.

Pro equipment
pro quality
Pro tree service

When it comes to tree services, having the right equipment is more than just a matter of convenience—it's a matter of safety, efficiency, and respect for property. Trees, with their vast sizes and intricate structures, can pose significant challenges, especially when they are damaged, diseased, or precariously positioned. For instance, removing a tree that's fallen onto a house requires a vastly different approach and equipment than grinding a stump or trimming branches after a storm.

At 999 Tree, we recognize and understand these unique challenges. That's why we invest in specialized equipment tailored for each specific job. Whether we're addressing storm-damaged trees, which may need cranes or other heavy machinery to safely and effectively remove them, or diseased trees, which might require precise cutting tools to prevent the spread of pathogens, our toolkit is diverse and cutting-edge. Stump grinding, for instance, is done using high-quality grinders that ensure the stump is removed efficiently without causing unnecessary damage to the surrounding landscape.

We don’t just care about the trees; we deeply respect the property they're on. Every member of the 999 Tree team is trained to operate our equipment in a way that minimizes impact to your yard, driveway, or any other structures. We place a strong emphasis on leaving properties in better condition than we found them. This means diligent clean-up after our tasks, from clearing away debris to ensuring no ruts or other signs of our work remain.

Our commitment is to provide you with top-tier tree services while preserving the integrity and beauty of your property.

Is stump removal included with your tree services

Depending on how you intend to use the property around a removed tree, you may or may not want to include stump removal in your plan. We have several options when it comes to stump removal and we have the equipment necessary to remove as many or as few of stumps from your property as needed once your land has be cleared.

When we perform a site visit to your property, we will take the time to discuss each of these option with you in detail.

After tree removal, stumps can be removed through various methods. The choice of stump removal technique depends on factors such as the size of the stumps, the number of stumps, accessibility, cost considerations, and the desired end use of the area.

Here are some common ways to remove stumps:

Stump Grinding: Stump grinding is a popular method for removing tree stumps. It involves using a stump grinder, which is a specialized machine with a rotating cutting wheel or disc. The grinder chips away the stump and grinds it into small wood chips or mulch. The remaining mulch can be used as ground cover or can be removed from the site.

Excavation: Excavating the stumps involves using heavy machinery like excavators or backhoes to dig around the stump and uproot it. This method is typically used for larger stumps or when the entire root system needs to be removed. Excavation can be a labor-intensive process and may require the use of additional equipment to lift and transport the stumps.

Manual Extraction: For smaller stumps or stumps with shallow root systems, manual extraction can be an option. This method involves using tools like an axe, shovel, or pry bar to dig around the stump and physically pull it out. It can be a labor-intensive process, and the success of manual extraction depends on the size and condition of the stump.

Natural Decay: Stumps will naturally decay over time through microbial activity and decomposition. This process can take several years, and the rate of decay depends on factors such as stump size, tree species, and environmental conditions. Natural decay is a passive approach and is typically suitable for situations where the stumps do not interfere with land use or pose safety concerns.
